angouleme bd festival
Angouleme
Few days ago I went for the first time to the nice little city of Angouleme for the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée (International Comics Festival), so I’ll be posting a few pictures I took there while walking from an event to another.
It was nice as all the city was concerned and events and exhibitions were all over the place, but it was also a bit overwhelming: too much stuff and I didn’t have much time so I had to make choices about what to see…
Of course I didn’t miss the retrospective of famous cartoonist Art Spiegelman, the creator of Maus, Raw magazine and many eye-catching New Yorker covers who arrived just when I was in there and was promptly submerged by the flashes of the photographers.
